The Client

The Catholic Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that receives and manages assets to provide perpetual funding for the parishes, schools, and ministries within the 23-county Diocese of Columbus. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees is comprised of Church, business and civic leaders who represent various regions of the diocese. 

The Opportunity

The Catholic Foundation came to MJ2, being familiar with our work with the Catholic Diocese of Columbus, to prepare for their new fundraising campaign focused on the future of the diocese in two main areas: Vocations and Evangelization, with a portion of the dollars going directly to support the Neumann Center renovation. 

The campaign collateral would be used throughout the fundraising efforts and help develop the narrative as the development professionals solicit key donors. Many components of their current collateral needed to be redesigned, including graphs and charts. All updated materials needed to follow The Catholic Foundation’s brand standards.  

The Outcome

Utilizing brand guidelines, imagery, and video of Bishop Earl Fernandes’ speech, MJ2’s creative team created a 2-page print piece for training new Development Officers. We also created an 8-page gatefold brochure that is used to solicit donors, with a pledge card and printable PDF. Branded stationery was also provided for personal notes. In conjunction with printed materials, our development team created a new user-friendly landing page mindful of established brand standards resulting in a streamlined webpage that inspires vocation and evangelization.
