Establishing Thought Leadership for a Pittsburgh Based Robotics Company

The client.

The makers of the first commercially-viable autonomous mobile manipulation robot, IAM Robotics is transforming the logistics industry. Their Swift Product Suite is the centerpiece of an automation system that allows retailers to offer a greater assortment of products in warehouses without adding labor, a critical component to thriving in this era of exponential growth of e-commerce. IAM Robotics has the distinctive honor of being named to the coveted Robotic Business Review’s RBR50 for four consecutive years, 2016 to 2019.

The opportunity.

A start-up tech company based in Pittsburgh, PA, IAM Robotics received $20M in venture capital funding to take their robotic solution into the marketplace. With the entire autonomous mobile robot industry in its early stages, IAM wanted to seize the opportunity to establish themselves as a thought leader in the space, as well as build their overall brand awareness on digital platforms.

The outcome.

The MJ2 content team went to work creating a base of knowledge about automation, mobile robots, and the supply chain to help give voice to the IAM Robotics brand. Long-form and short-form articles were written each month under direction of IAM that helped to establish the robotic company as a thought leader, thereby lending credibility to the brand and their solution. All digital and social platforms were utilized to amplify the IAM Robotics brand, engage with industry colleagues and potential clients, and recruit for their growing team.
