Laugh. Give. Be a Kid.

Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day. Who would have thought such a silly day could bring about greater awareness and change for the needs of children worldwide. Created by the writer and director of movies such as Love Actually and Four Weddings and a Funeral, Richard Curtis organized the first Red Nose Day in 1988. His idea was built upon the foundation that comedy, celebrities and mass media, can help raise money and awareness of poverty to save and change millions of lives.
May 21st, 2015 was the inaugural Red Nose Day in America, but it has raised over $1 billion dollars worldwide over the last 25 years. This year people across the country will come together once again to have fun and raise funds and awareness. Laugh. Give. Be a Kid.
MJ2 Marketing recognized that this special day was a great opportunity to do our part and help the children who need it most. We hopped on the Red Nose Day wagon and invited our clients to join in on the fun. Red noses were sent out to all of our clients with the instructions to “Put on a Nose. Strike a Pose. Anything Goes.” and share their photo on their favorite social network to spread the word. The best photo will win an ice cream party for their group so they can remember what it’s like to be a kid again and have some fun. Nothing says fun like ice cream.
Here’s a look at some of our participants at this year’s Red Nose Day. Thanks to everyone who participated this year.
