Anna Young: The MJ2 team brings a wealth of marketing and sales experience to the table. Our environment here is such that we are able to have open discussions about our projects and think about creative ways to solve problems. Collaboration is a very important part of our process, as it allows each of us to share our own unique viewpoints for the betterment of both the team and the client.
We Strategize
Megan James: A marketing strategy is the most pivotal point of all of our social campaigns. If we don’t understand the client’s marketing plans, it is very hard to integrate social messaging successfully. Over the years we have fine-tuned our approach to message mapping, along with content blueprints for social campaigns that show results.
We Blueprint
Lisa Moore: Content blueprints and the process of collecting relevant sources and articles is an essential aspect of overall social marketing strategy. Not only does it aid in the planning for the project, but it also helps community managers stay connected and in-tune with current news and information for each social community. At MJ2, we refer to our content blueprints weekly across all accounts. It is important to note that, as with digital marketing, content blueprints may and should be adapted as new developments or audience engagement opens a new path of interest.
We Communicate
Anne Harkin: Knowing our clients and communicating with them on a regular basis ensures that we are conveying their message in a manner consistent with their brand. It also allows us to highlight the individual personalities within an organization. We recently shared an article featuring the CEO of one of our clients and the interactions went through the roof. People love knowing the personal side of a company.
We Measure
Andrew Bash: Once brand messaging has gone out, we believe it is vital to measure the buzz around our campaigns. Using a variety of tools, we monitor analytics for our social and email platforms. This allows us to know what resonates within the communities, and how to tweak our strategy and blueprints to best connect a brand with its fans.
