The hand-frosted butter cookies from Sweet Tooth Cottage have been an MJ2 favorite for years. When we found out that they were selected by our panel of judges as winners of the MJ2 Summer JumpStart Promotion we were pretty excited. Not only are these cookies delicious, but they look amazing too! From the snickerdoodles and chocolate chips to the custom-designed butter cookies, we cannot get enough. And after completing our two-week JumpStart we found out that there are a lot of people that are just as excited about these cookies as we are. Look out Cheryl’s!
After a meeting with Sweet Tooth’s key stakeholders, we took over the Sweet Tooth Cottage Facebook page and gave it a fresh new look complete with new cover photos, updated apps, and branded images. We then created a Content Blueprint and posting strategy to highlight their offerings and expand their reach. In just two short weeks we grew their fan base by 90 percent, bumping the page up to over 1,000 likes.
Understanding their key demographic (females ages 30–50), we knew the addition of Pinterest was a must. After some market research, we learned that many competitors were out there sharing and pinning their creations, so we set up the profile and started pinning, tagging, and linking! In addition, we helped to create a “Back To School” promotion with social postings and an email push to drive in-store sales.
We had a blast working with the Sweet Tooth Cottage and their amazing fans and look forward to working with them in the future!
