MJ2 has enjoyed the time spent collaborating with the Dublin Ohio Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Dublin to bring awareness to the amazing opportunity our fair City of Dublin was given; hosting The Presidents Cup! Dublin now sits on the world’s stage as we play host to this elite event! Did you know that The Presidents Cup, played at Muirfield Village Golf Club, will become only the third golf course in the United States to host the prestigious match-play competition?
MJ2 is proud to have played a role in planning and creating the social media buzz for all the events leading up to this big day. So here are the Top “Fore” Greatest Attractions to see while attending The Presidents Cup or while just taking in all of the energy and excitement surrounding it:
- Fore!Fest– Dublin’s FREE street festival in celebration of The Presidents Cup. Bridge and High streets will be closed (4-11p.m.) creating a safe, spacious and lively atmosphere where guests can enjoy eclectic entertainment, unique retail, beverage stations and premier dining.
- Flags – A Facebook contest was launched asking people to vote on their favorite Dublin Top 18 Golf Moments. The flags depicting those moments are prominently displayed on the lawn of Indian Run School on Bridge St. MJ2 was responsible for campaign promotion and programming on Facebook. Did you vote on your favorite?
- Fan Experience– Don’t have a ticket? No problem just come on over to the Fan Experience. It’s an unbelievable dedicated area which features amazing culinary options, live interactive broadcasting of all the events on the course, official Presidents Cup merchandise and live music.
- Fun – The 18 Drives Through Dublin… 18 large golf ball sculptures mounted on tees have been created to celebrate The Presidents Cup. Each statue is sponsored and artistically embellished by a Dublin business or organization and displayed in the community to showcase the city’s vibrancy and dynamism.
