Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager will champion the sales effort at MJ2 Marketing, working directly with the COO and business development agency teams. This role focuses on the agency’s growth and profits in Columbus, Ohio and nationally. This is a hands-on role and requires a person who is comfortable collaborating with teams and persistent with developing relationships and opening doors.
Other Responsibilities

- Utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads while maintaining current client relationships.
- Make a high volume of outbound sales calls to business owners within a variety of industries.

Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of business development in a technology-related business preferred

Digital Marketing Account Manager
MJ2 Marketing is seeking an experienced, talented individual to join our team as a Digital Marketing Account Manager. This role works directly with our clients to drive the strategic direction of each account and ensure the execution of the day-to-day work associated with the digital marketing plan. Doing so requires frequent and direct communication with our Content, Creative, and Social Media teams. as well as the client.
The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of professional experience eliciting a strong, strategic understanding of digital marketing and the ability to execute strategies across several different accounts in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This position requires an overarching understanding of digital and content marketing, as such a variety of skill sets will be considered. Competency in graphic design, photo/video editing, web design, and creative writing are all positives.
Responsibilities
- Manage 6-8 accounts/projects, each of which may include components of SEO, email marketing, content strategy and development, organic and paid social media management, and event coverage.
- Work with various account teams to determine overarching strategy, and ensure strategy is followed on each account
- Engage in consistent and frequent communication with each client to ensure benchmarks are met and relationships are maintained
- Oversee planning and execution of outreach for client events
- Conduct brand research and audits
- Manage multi-faceted campaigns on behalf of the clients
- Participate in internal team and client meetings
- Drive strategy around the creation of graphic design and video assets
- Drive strategy around the creation of web/digital assets and email marketing campaigns

This role will assist Account Managers in designing and developing digital properties and performance marketing strategies for our diverse portfolio of clients.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to 8-10 accounts and/or projects, participating in content planning, design, development, and analytics reporting..
- Work with various account teams to determine overarching strategy, and ensure the strategy is followed on each account
- Participate in internal team and client meetings
- Design, develop, and send email marketing, including automated campaigns
- Manage PPC advertising campaigns on Meta, LinkedIn, and Google
- Wireframing, design, and development of websites and landing pages
- Assisting the maintenance of a wide variety of client websites, including plugin updates, content updates, and new feature development as needed
- Reporting on analytics data for our client accounts, including results from the web, email, PPC, and social media

Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing (agency experience preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of graphic design principles in the digital spaces
- Highly skilled technically in HTML and CSS (Javascript and PHP a plus)
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator (XD, Sketch, Figma, and other tools a plus)
