Spend some time with the MJ2 staff and you’re sure to notice how much we love sushi. One of our favorite lunchtime hotspots is right here in Dublin: Mr. Sushi – so it was only natural that we take them on as our latest JumpStart client!
A Central Ohio favorite, Mr. Sushi has been in operation for several years, and has locations in both Dublin and Gahanna. In an effort to expand their reach, Mr. Sushi opened up a Facebook page. The platform was successful, but the staff was not able to take full advantage of its potential. That’s where MJ2 came in. After meeting with Mr. Sushi staff and management, we got to work, fully customizing their existing Facebook page with optimized copy, branded images, and email capture.
After revamping the page, the next step was to grow the fan base and raise awareness of one of the biggest Columbus events in the industry: (614) Restaurant Week. The special event offers visitors a unique, three-course meal at a reasonable price, with some proceeds going to benefit the Mid-Ohio Food Bank. To take advantage of this opportunity, MJ2 went to work, creating a content blueprint focused around posting updates and sharing images designed to promote the event, and the restaurant as a whole.
After one short week, the efforts on Facebook have been successful. Mr. Sushi’s page likes have increased by over 50%, and their reach continues to climb. We are very happy we could help promote Mr. Sushi during Restaurant Week, and we look forward to working with them in the future!
