Farmer's Day in Ohio | Farm Activities to Celebrate Farmer's Day This Year

The MJ2 team may not know a lot about farming, but we do enjoy what comes from farms! Fall is a great time of the year to enjoy going to an Ohio farm. Find out more about our image and the art installation in Dublin that is a tribute to Sam Frantz, the inventor of hybrid corn.

Jacquemin Farms

Where: 7437 Hyland Croy Rd., Plain City, OH 43064
When: Mon.-Sat., 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sun., 1-6 p.m.
Cost: $1 hayrides to the pumpkin patch, $5 admission to the Kiddie Playland, ages 10 and under (admission includes a straw maze, grain boxes, giant air toys and free hayrides)

Leeds Farm

Where: 8738 Marysville Rd., Ostrander, OH 43061
When: Sat., 10 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
* Friday October 19 will be the ONLY Friday that the farm will be open 10 a.m – 5 p.m.
Cost: $2 hayrides, $7 Barn Pass admission (admission includes mini zip lines, the pumpkin jump, a corn box and more)

Miller’s Country Gardens

When: Sat., 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sun., noon-5 p.m.
Cost: FREE parking and rides to the pumpkin patch

U-pick apples are priced at $20 per large bag (holds approximately twenty pounds when filled) and $12 per small bag (holds approximately ten pounds when filled), and we provide containers.

U-pick pumpkin patch All pumpkins from the patch are priced at $6 each. Friday’s patch location (10/12) is near the corn maze (on Morse Rd. west of S.R. 310) and the patch location for Saturday and Sunday (10/13-14) will be indicated by directional signage located at the Morse Rd/S.R. 310 intersection.
