As most are aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This support and awareness is such an important initiative, one that MJ2 Marketing actively supports.
Last week, we met with the Stefanie Champions event coordinator to help them further define their outreach and media opportunities with the lunch benefit. Stefanie’s Champions is an annual event, recognizing and honoring the people in the lives of breast cancer survivors who have offered immeasurable support. The Spielman Fund is in its 13th year of fundraising around Stefanie’s Champions, and we have been there all 13 years.
This year, MJ2 clients have become involved in raising awareness and funds for The Spielman Fund. We thought this would be an ideal time to highlight some of their efforts, and some things that went extremely viral over the past several weeks through social channels. We thank them for their continual support of this important philanthropy.
Priority Mortgage Corp.
Priority recently started a Facebook community project under our direction, for both the parent page for Priority Mortgage Corp. and the child pages for their loan officers. Like most companies, Priority has been touched by breast cancer in their organization. They are giving $1 for every new like to their corporate page to the The Spielman Fund. This has been so successful that they are continuing the promotion through November.
Dave McKee – Priority Mortgage Corp.
Mortgage loan officer, Dave McKee, of Priority Mortgage Corp. is also supporting the Priority Mortgage initiative. He is donating $1 for every new “like” to his Facebook page.
Fireproof Records Center
Fireproof Records initiated their Breast Cancer Awareness plan in early October. They are also donating $1 for every new like to their corporate page to the Spielman Fund. Fireproof received over 100 new fans in 10 days. Building a community to support a great cause!
Fire-Dex
Fire-Dex in Medina, Ohio manufacturers fire fighting and EMS protective gear. The fire fighting community has done an amazing job at educating and supporting women and breast cancer awareness through their Guardians of the Ribbon organization.
At the request of their distributor, Ten-8 Equipment in Georgia, they created pink turnout gear for the Guardians of the Ribbon, Georgia chapter. When this was posted to their Facebook page, Fire-dex collectively received 65 likes, 36 comments, 13 shares, and new sales leads.
We applaud these clients on their endeavors to raise awareness about breast cancer and to help raise funds to end this horrible disease. Please support them and others in our community as we work together to defeat cancer!
