Named “the fastest growing company in Medina, Ohio” according to the Medina Gazette, Fire-Dex is also known in their industry for their fantastic customer service and innovative manufacturing processes.

The Challenge

Fire-Dex was well-known within their industry; however, they were looking for a way to connect with the ultimate consumer of their products: firefighters. MJ2 was chartered in 2011 to connect with their target audience through multiple digital channels and increase communication with the end user. MJ2 Marketing has had the opportunity to continue our partnership with Fire-Dex since 2011, developing their digital strategy to standards that are recognized in the fire service industries as leading edge, current and results-oriented.

In just four years, Fire-Dex’s social platforms have experienced explosive growth due to the wealth of information they are able to share through a variety of effective channels we have designed and created. From a robust and colorful blog to engaging social media pages, this award-winning account has achieved over 50,000 fans and continues to flourish. Fire-Dex’s fan base grows at an exponential pace with end users entering contests and joining promotions such as the Feast of Gratitude and 12 Days of Fire-Dex, as well as sharing unique, branded images along with user-generated content. The digital marketing campaign has attributed to a network of buyers and direct sales growth and our work has landed us three industry awards for social media and interactive marketing.
